Double the entries, half the content

Not at all sure why there’re two copies of the last few entries here, but I assume it has something to do with upgrading to the latest version of Wordpress. I will fiddle with the database and related organs, but if anyone has suggestions, I am always wide, wide open.

Updated to add: Oh hey, it was the DeUncategorize plug-in. I’ll just leave this up here for anyone else who might one day suffer this delightful treat of an issue.

Updated to add even more: Daniel M. Gatterman, the DeUncategorize plug-in author, popped up to tell me that it’s likely impossible his plug-in could have screwed up my site. This I feel was above-and-beyond the duty of defending his software, because he was patient and helpful, instead of being snippy and pissy the way internet people often are.

Consequently, I shift my blame to SideBlog, the only other thing I turned off to fix the issue.

Thanks, Daniel!

  1. Why do you think deUncategorize caused your entries to double?
It does nothing but reading one WordPress option and adding some JavaScript. It doesn’t fiddle with your database or anything like that. Please double-check and tell me what’s wrong. Thanks!

  2. And thanks to you for really caring, instead of being… you’ve said it ;-)
