Yep, I promised a friend of mine that I’d pick him up at his car dealership this morning. He was dropping off his Alero to have the oil changed. I said, “Rather than follow you from your house, I’ll just meet you at the dealership at 7:15.”
So much easier, I said. I’ll just meet you there, I said. I hope I don’t forget!, I joked.
And I forgot.
He just got to work. Apparently it was such a sad situation that the car dealership got him a complimentary cab ride to work.
Worst thing I’ve done all week, and it’s only Wednesday.
