Miscellaneous, etc. is the personal blog of Mike, a 32 year-old Canadian who loves:

• his fiancée
• his family
• his home
• his job
• his cats (unless they’ve destroyed, shat upon or thrown up something)
• the internet
• writing
• bulleted lists

This site has actually been on the internet for a pretty long time — 10 years, in fact — but only recently Mike discovered that due to his own neglect, everything that he’d written since 1999 was gone in a puff of account cancellation electronic ether.  So, this represents starting over a little, and will present fun opportunities to remember what having a website just for himself is all about.

This might be just as well, since he was getting sick and tired of being known as “the guy who wrote about The Fleshlight” that one time.  Perhaps it’s best that we all move on.

Mike is also the plumber, site wrangler and part-time contributor to Choosy Beggars, which he writes with the ever-fabulous Tina and which has enjoyed more success in its first year of life than Miscellaneous etc did over the course of 10.

This would be a second good reason to start over, when one comes to think about it.

It should be pretty obvious that all views, opinions, jokes and idiocy are the product of Mike and are in no way affiliated with his employers, past or present.  As if he’d talk about work on the internet anyway, right?  Jeez.
